Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Experience in genetic engineering of bacteria, molecular biology, RNA techniques and bioinformatics
  • Knowledge of next-generation sequencing and RNA biology.

The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for studying cell membrane interactions and cell signaling using novel biomaterials and high-resolution fluorescence imaging techniques.

Applicants with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• A PhD degree by the time of joining the group.
• Extensive research experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Cellular biophysics, including but not limited to cell-materials interactions, cell migration, receptor-ligand interactions, cell membranes, etc.
  • Soft matter biophysics, including but not limited to colloid dynamics and rheology, cytoskeleton dynamics, etc.
  • High-resolution fluorescence imaging and single-molecule/single-particle tracking in soft materials (non-living or living)
